World Cup: Photos as riot breaks out in Belgium, after they lost 2-0 to Morocco yesterday.

According to a news that was published by the Leadership Newspaper online this morning, it was reported that riots have broken out in Brussels, the Belgian capital City, after the national team lost to Morocco in the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup, which is taking place in Qatar.

It was reported that rioters started fires and were also pelting cars with bricks in Brussels, due to the development, as police operatives have to seal off parts of the city centre. It was reported that the police deployed water cannons and fired tear gas to disperse crowds due to the violence.

While the Mayor of Brussels, Philippe Close, was reacting to this development, he urged soccer fans to stay away from the city centre and also said authorities were doing their utmost to keep order in their streets.

He said, “I strongly condemn the incidents that occurred today. The cops have already acted harshly and so, I advise supporters not to come to the city center.
