Why Chelsea’s interest in Dortmund player might be a great blockage for Real Madrid to sign the star

In recent years, Real Madrid has been linked to a number of big names. In recent years, Los Blancos have stopped signing players like the Galacticos. However, Florentino Perez might be looking to add one or two superstars to Carlo Ancelotti’s team after failing to sign Kylian Mbappe in the summer. Of course, we all know by now that Mbappe seems to want to leave PSG, and Real Madrid can’t be completely ruled out of the running, even though it seems unlikely.
On the other hand, they have been linked to Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham a lot over the past few months as their top priority for the next summer transfer window. But it looks like Chelsea has already given them a setback in the race for the English midfielder.
Sport Bild claimed that Chelsea has talked to Borussia Dortmund about a transfer for next summer. Todd Boehly is thought to have made signing Bellingham his top priority, and “The Blues” are already in talks with the England international’s team, according to reports.
So, it looks like Chelsea is trying to get Bellingham before other teams do. They are reportedly willing to pay €100 million for the star player. Real Madrid, on the other hand, might not want to spend that much to get Bellingham.
Even though Roman Abramovich was not the owner anymore after a long and successful run, the Premier League’s biggest teams have not been shy about spending money.
It’s still too early to tell if they can win the race for Bellingham. They are not Real Madrid’s only competition, though. Liverpool, Manchester United, and Manchester City are also thought to be interested in the young player, but Chelsea is now the team with the best chance of signing him.
