Chelsea fans has call on Chelsea board to sack Thomas Tuchel after dropping their star player as it comes to soon for the punishment
“They have sacked managers who won the Champions League in the past.” 👀
Soccer Saturday panel discuss whether Thomas Tuchel’s future might be in doubt given Roman Abramovich’s history with sacking managers
Tuchel is in an awful position. You can’t let a player get away with that but at the same time he’s your most important player so either way you lose. Letting him get away with it shows weakness but not playing him results will suffer and you get the sack. What do you do?
Thomas Tuchel will be sacked as Chelsea manager at one point in the future and John Terry knows by being in the door he has a chance of becoming interim manager
I do think Tuchel has an extra year or so before the club properly start to consider sacking him, especially based on the fact that half the squad wants to leave
Thomas Tuchel warned of Chelsea sack if Blues lose to Liverpool – ‘Roman won’t be happy’
Thomas Tuchel could be facing the sack if Chelsea lose to Liverpool and trail them and Manchester City further in the Premier League. The Blues have had a tough December with results, Covid and injuries.
Chelsea chief Roman Abramovich will not be happy if his club lose to Liverpool this Sunday and Tuchel could be out of a job.
That is the verdict from former Blue star Glen Johnson, who knows all about the hire and fire policies at Stamford Bridge
Tuchel has looked stressed this December after a tough month in the Premier League full of injuries, poor results and positive Covid tests.
Key players Ben Chilwell and Reece James are out for a considerable amount of time, Chelsea have drawn 1-1 three times at home this month and now Romelu Lukaku has told Sky Sports that he is not happy with the coach.
And the Belgian might not be the only one with Abramovich not known for his patient approach with his managers on King’s Road.
Next up are Liverpool with both clubs vying for the Premier League title – except that might be too far away at the moment.
That would almost certainly be the case for whoever loses, with City already eight points clear of the second-placed Blues.
Liverpool are in a vengeful mood after losing to Leicester while their last trip to Stamford Bridge saw them claim all three points.
While there has been little talk of Tuchel getting the boot, Johnson knows things can change in a heartbeat at Chelsea.
Speaking to BoyleSports.com, the former England defender said: “We know it’s the hottest seat in world football, but it would be super harsh.
“Roman Abramovich won’t be happy if the title race is over in January.
“So, of course, everyone expected them [to win the title], I even thought they were favourites at the start of the season. So Roman certainly won’t be happy if it doesn’t go down to the wire.
Chelsea have had a tough December
“There is always pressure in that position, so Tuchel might well be under pressure, but it would be harsh if he gets any sort of criticism
