Group A

Ajax vs Napoli

Liverpool vs Rangers

On the third day of the Champions League Group A, the group’s top team, Napoli, will travel to the Amsterdam ArenA to face the group’s third-place team, Ajax. Ajax have had a solid start to the season thus far, defeating Rangers of Scotland before losing by a close margin to Liverpool of England at Anfield. The visiting Napoli team, on the other hand, easily trounced Liverpool before defeating Rangers at Ibrox to take all three points.

Liverpool will try to win their second straight match in Europe when they play Rangers. Rangers have already lost their first two games and cannot afford another setback if they are to remain in the competition.

Group B Table

For all the clubs in Group B, in a group that promised to be competitive from the minute it was chosen, this might be a crucial week.

Club Brugge vs Atletico Madrid

FC Porto vs Bayern Leverkusen

After winning their first two Champions League games, Club Brugge will welcome Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid to the Jan Breydel Stadium on Tuesday night. Porto will play Bayer Leverkusen in a match that might have important ramifications on matchday three of the Champions League following Porto’s comfortable victory over Braga on Friday. In all competitions, the hosts are coming off their first win in three games, while Leverkusen are seeking redemption after a humiliating loss to Bayern Munich on Friday.

Group C

Bayern Munich vs Viktoria Plzen

Inter vs Barcelona

Bayern Munich will be attempting to hold onto the lead in Group C of the Champions League when they visit Viktoria Plzen at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday night. In their difficult-to-date European campaign, Viktoria Plzen will be seeking to gain their first points.

Inter Milan and Barcelona, two of the top teams in Europe, will face off in a Champions League Group C matchup at San Siro on Tuesday night. As of the third matchday, the teams are tied on points. However, Inter had their worst Serie A start in 11 years, while Barcelona is still unbeaten after seven games in La Liga. Both teams defeated Viktoria Plzen but lost to Bayern Munich.

Group D

Marseille vs Sporting

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Tottenham

A winless Marseille club will take on Sporting Lisbon on Tuesday at the Stade Velodrome in the third matchday of the UEFA Champions League. Sporting Lisbon is now unbeaten and has not conceded a goal, whereas Marseille are currently last in Group D after dropping their first two games of this competition without scoring. In the Champions League on Tuesday, Tottenham Hotspur will visit Eintracht Frankfurt after suffering a humiliating derby day loss over the weekend. This game might have a big effect on the group. On Saturday, Frankfurt defeated Bundesliga leaders Union Berlin 2-0 at home to become the first team to do so this year, while Tottenham lost 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium.
