From reports, the next player that looks certain to leave the club before the window shuts down is French International Tiemoue Bakayokowho recently returned from a seasoned long loan which he had with Italian side Napoli last season.
Having failed in his attempt to break into Chelsea’s starting eleven since his arrival from Monaco in 2014, it has been continuous loan spells for the 27-year-old. Well. The storyline seems to be heading towards a change as reports have shown that one of his former employers on loan (AC Milan) have shown interest in him and are ready to pay for his services permanently, but wouldn’t mind having him on loan if that is the only option left from the Blues’ table.
According to reports from both Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport (via Sport Witness), Chelsea is set to sit down with Tiemoue Bakayoko’s representatives ahead of another move away from Stamford Bridge. From the reports, Chelsea has opened the doors to a new loan for the player, this time on more advantageous terms than two years ago. The meeting with his agents’ from reports is scheduled for today and hopefully, an agreement can be reached.
Even though the player has not been able to show his abilities while playing for Chelsea in England, you will agree with me from the few times you have watched him play, that the 27-year-old is blessed with Energy which helps in controlling the defensive part of the midfield where he plays, therefore, shouldn’t be held back in a club where there is no room for him. Against that background, we are hopeful that the Blues will reach an agreement with the player’s agent sooner than expected and allow the player to join another club where he will be given the much-needed playing time that he deserves.
