Vinicius Jr. of Real Madrid has Thiago Silva’s support after the Brazilian was warned not to perform his signature dance celebration.

On September 18, Los Blancos face Atletico Madrid, a cross-city adversary, and the stakes have been upped in anticipation of the significant match.

Silva, the captain of Chelsea, has defended the offensive player, stating on his Instagram (via MadridXtra):

“Always dance, my brother! Always remain true to yourself. This is not a sign of disrespect, therefore resist attempts to take your joy from you!”

Players for the Selecao are known for their outlandish celebrations, with stars like Ronaldinho and Neymar breaking out into their signature dancing moves.

Vinicius, who thrived in the 2021–22 season, is off to a scorching start this year.

In his first eight games, he has five goals and three assists to his name.

He also played for Real Madrid, which advanced to the finals by defeating Chelsea and Silva’s team in the quarterfinals.
