Spurs, Chelsea, and Arsenal Players Dominate All-Star XI of Southern Teams in the EPL



The English Premier League is a competition that has a total of 20 teams but the diversity in background and location is apparent. Some teams are from the same region and matches between them are usually called derbies.

Some of the most fiercely contested derbies are the London Derbies and the Manchester Derbies. There is also the game between Leeds United and Manchester United, which is usually called the Battle of the Roses. The game between Liverpool and Manchester United is also keenly anticipated by football fans all over the world. Arsenal versus Chelsea and Liverpool versus Everton are also fiercely contested derbies.

Teams from the Southern part of England dominate the English Premier League and these are London teams. Some of the teams originating from London in the English Premier League are Chelsea, Arsenal, Brighton and Hove Albion, Southampton, Brentford, Fulham, Tottenham Hotspur, and West Ham United.

Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham Hotspur are the biggest teams in the English Premier League originating from London. This is why it comes as no surprise that the three teams dominate the all-star XI of Southern Teams in the English Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur is represented by Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, Christian Romero, and Hugo Lloris. Arsenal has three players in the team, namely, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Martin Odegaaed, and Bukayo Saka while Chelsea has Reece James, Thiago Silva, and N’Golo Kante representing them. West Ham United midfielder, Declan Rice completes the team.

There are places on the bench for Brentford striker, Ivan Toney, Fulham striker, Mitrovic, Mason Mount, Raheem Sterling, and Edouard Mendy of Chelsea, and Moises Caicedo of Brighton and Hove Albion.
