REPORTS: Unsatisfied Chelsea forward ready to leave the club in January

Chelsea football club will undoubtedly be keen on winning some more trophies under the management of Thomas Tuchel before the end of the 2021/2022 season.

The West London club made some signings during the summer as they look to rival the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool for the Premier League title this season.

However, that is quite working out well for Chelsea so far as they are currently occupying the 3rd position on the Premier League table following their disappointing 1-1 draw at home to Everton on Thursday evening.

But now, Chelsea could be rocked with reports that experienced forward Hakim Ziyech is in line to leave the club when the transfer window opens in January.

The 28-year-old Morocco International, who joined Chelsea after leaving Eredivisie side Ajax in 2020 has been an important member of the first-team squad since he made the move.

The experienced attacking midfielder enjoyed an interesting 2020/2021 season where he scored six goals and created four assists in 39 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea.

Hakim Ziyech has however struggled to rediscover his best form for Chelsea so far this season despite scoring three goals and creating four assists in the 17 matches he has played so far.

Due to this, it is believed that Hakim Ziyech is not satisfied at the club and he could now be preparing to leave when the transfer window opens next year.

And according to reports from The Sun, Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund are keen on offering him an escape route as they plan to sign him in January.

The reports further claimed that Borussia Dortmund wants to further strengthen their options in attack and are looking to lure Hakim Ziyech away from Chelsea.

That said, it remains to be seen if Hakim Ziyech will have a change of mind and keep challenging at Chelsea or he will be interested in a move to join Borussia Dortmund in January.
