Without much doubts, Chelsea football club will be aiming towards adding more players to their squad under the management of Thomas Tuchel when the transfer window opens.

The Blues have struggled to keep up with the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table due to coronavirus outbreak and varying injuries to several players.

Due to this, manager Thomas Tuchel will be keen on improving his current squad by signing some players when the transfer window opens in January.

And now if reports are anything to go by, then Chelsea are considering a transfer move for Marseille young central midfielder Boubacar Kamara when the window opens.

The 22-year-old France International, who has been at Marseille since 2015 has enjoyed a brilliant run of form with the first-team squad over the previous seasons.

The young defensive midfielder was quite involved for Marseille during the 2020/2021 season where he recorded two assists in 43 appearances in all competitions

Boubacar Kamara has also started the ongoing season on a good note and has scored one goal in the 20 appearances he has made so far, helping his side to 3rd position on the Ligue 1 table.

But then, Boubacar Kamara has less than one year left on his current contract with Marseille and due to his refusal to sign a new contract, Chelsea are looking to capitalise and sign him on a free transfer.

But then according to reports from The Sun, Chelsea now face competitions from two Premier League sides; Manchester United and Newcastle United in their bid to sign Boubacar Kamara.

The reports further claimed that newly-bought Premier League side Newcastle United are also interested in signing Boubacar Kamara and will table a bid worth up to £10million in order to tempt Marseille into offloading him in January.

That said, Chelsea are now very much aware of their need to beat off competitions from both Newcastle United and Manchester United in order to seal a move for Boubacar Kamara when the transfer window opens
