Paulo Dybala has already revealed his dream transfer destination amid Arsenal links

The Argentine has been relentlessly linked with a summer switch to the Premier League after talks over a new contract with Juventus broke down and he will now depart at the end of this term

Past comments from Paulo Dybala may have inadvertently shed light on where the Argentina international will be playing his football from next season onwards.

The Juventus forward is attracting interest from some of the Premier League’s biggest sides, including Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur. The 28-year-old sees his contract with the Italian giants expire come the end of this season and is therefore free to explore other options, with a move to England the most likely according to reports.

The Gunners are keen on bolstering their forward line and Mikel Arteta views Dybala as someone who could drastically strengthen an Arsenal side that has struggled to score goals at times this season. The Argentine undoubtedly knows where the net is, scoring 115 goals in 269 outings for Juventus.

Dybala has previously opened up on two clubs he has always admired from afar and the comments do not make for welcome reading from an Arsenal perspective. Though they were made seven years ago, the Juventus talisman did not identify the Gunners as one of the teams he harboured aspirations of playing for.

“When I play with the PlayStation, I always choose Barcelona or Manchester City,” Dybala told Guerin Sportivo back in 2015. “I dream to play one day with one of those clubs.” These comments in turn could make it even harder for Arteta to entice the player to committing to his project at the Emirates.

The five-time Serie A winner posted an emotional tribute to the Juventus fanbase as he confirmed he would not be at the club next season, though it has been an open secret for quite some time – hence the interest from so many other outfits across the continent.
