Argentina and Paris Saint-Germain legendary attacker, Lionel Messi has taken to social media to flaunt his Pichichi trophy after receiving it.

Even though Lionel Messi joined Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, the record that he has broken in La Liga are still following him. The Argentina national team captain won the 2020/21 season pichichi award for being the top goal scorer in that season.

Lionel Messi scored 30 goals in 35 matches for Barcelona, thus topping Karim Benzema and Gerard Moreno who had 23 respectively.

However, Lionel Messi has taken to social media to flaunts his Pichichi trophy after receiving his eighth and has thanked everyone who helped him grabbed the award.

Lionel Messi posted on Facebook: “Thank you to everyone one who helped me grab them and also go to @marca for coming in this time to Paris to deliver it to me. Hug!!”
