I do not care—Ghana coach Addo reacts to Ronaldo’s departure from Manchester United.

Otto Addo, the coach of Ghana, has refuted claims that his players will be distracted by the ongoing repercussions of striker Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit from Manchester United on Tuesday night before their 2022 FIFA World Cup opener against Portugal.

When questioned about the potential impact of Ronaldo’s predicament, Addo said he doesn’t give a damn.

However, he emphasized that it didn’t affect the Black Stars’ will to defeat Portugal on Thursday night.

At his pre-match press conference before Ghana’s World Cup match against Portugal, Addo was asked about the effects of Ronaldo’s departure from Manchester United. He responded, “I don’t know, and to be honest, I don’t care.” This is not a concern of ours, nor do I believe it to be a major issue.

“No matter what happens, it’s a big stage, a big game at the World Cup level.” Everyone wants to win. Therefore, I don’t believe this would generally disrupt anyone.
