Ex-Chelsea star, Antonio Rudiger sends quick recovery message to injured Super Eagles striker

Ex-Chelsea defender and German international, Antonio Rudiger has sent a get well soon message to injured Super Eagles of Nigeria striker Sadiq Umar after the 25 year old forward maestro suffered an injury in the last weekend.

Sadiq Umar has been dealt a massive blow after his club, Real Sociedad confirmed that the forward has sustained a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament.

As such, Sadiq Umar could be out of action for the rest of the season as he has been diagnosed with a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament suffered against Getafe on Sunday.

Sadiq Umar was exceptional for Almeria in the last campaign where he played pivotal role for the team in the Segunda division and as such scored a quite incredible number of goals by firing from all cylinders which propelled them to the top of the table, thereby got promoted to the first division.

He was able to maintain the standard in the La Liga Santander where he picked up his impressive goal scoring form before making his move to Real Sociedad in the last day of the just concluded summer transfer window.

The same was the case upon making his debut for Real Sociedad where he has showcased his goal scoring prowess before the unfortunate incident in the last weekend.

Following this trend, former Chelsea star and Real Madrid summer signing Antonio Rudiger has took turn to wish the Super Eagles forward a quick recovery having played together during their spell at the Stadio Olimpico with AS Roma.

Antonio Rudiger reacted to this with a post via his Instagram story as posted yesterday night with the caption, “Stay strong my brother, Almighty knows why. Comeback stronger Sadiq Umar”.

Wishing him a very quick recovery with the hope to get back to the pitch of play better and stronger.
