Ahead of the game, here are three Chelsea players who deserve to start against the Red Devils.

1 Mateo Kovacic

One of the anticipated highlights of the game would be the battle in midfield. Manchester United have recently fixed their midfield problems with Casemiro coming into the team and making a difference. For the Blues to dominate the midfield, they need Kovacic to pair with Jorginho, as they need more experience in the game.

2 Mason Mount

The English midfielder is arguably the most creative player in Chelsea presently, and for the Blues to claim all three points against the Red Devils, the academy graduate is needed.

Mount made the difference for Chelsea in their last few games, and with the absence of N’golo Kante and Reece James, the England midfielder is needed to provide enough chances for the team.

3 Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

The former Arsenal striker was benched for Armando Broja against the Bees and he was sorely missed by the Blues. He was later subbed on but could not make a difference in the few minutes he spent on the pitch.

Aubameyang is known for turning up in big games, and this particular encounter with Manchester United could be another chance for him to prove himself as a big game player.
