Chelsea’s Next Fixtures Compared To Man City, Liverpool, Man United, Arsenal And Tottenham’s

Graham Potter is halfway through the difficult 13-game run that opened his Chelsea career.
The former Brighton boss had not lost in his first seven games and had five consecutive victories until a 0-0 tie with Brentford. Potter has five clean sheets in a row, so there is still something to work on.
So far, the 47-year-old has done an excellent job of reversing Chelsea’s early-season troubles, propelling the club back into the top four and within striking distance of Arsenal and Manchester City, while also guaranteeing that the Champions League group stage looks promising.
Chelsea vs Manchester United
Potter’s first top-six match as Chelsea manager will be against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge. The atmosphere will be electric, and the Blues will be aiming to capitalise on it by picking up a statement victory after Erik ten Hag’s team has also just turned a corner.
Last season, Jorginho netted a penalty to equalise Jadon Sancho’s opening for the visitors, resulting in a 1-1 tie. Chelsea will be looking to narrow the gap at the top of the table and get back on track after being foiled by Thomas Frank’s Bees. Meanwhile, Ten Hag’s team is coming off a 2-0 victory against Tottenham.
Brighton vs Chelsea
Graham Potter will return to the south coast as Chelsea manager for the first time since taking over for Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge. The Seagulls began life without Potter with a wonderful 3-3 draw against Liverpool at Anfield, with Leandro Trossard, who has been linked with a transfer to the Blues, scoring a remarkable hat-trick.
Marc Cucurella will also return to Brighton for the first time since departing in the summer, while Potter will be hoping he can return to haunt Brighton and grab all three points against his old club.
Chelsea vs Arsenal
Chelsea hosts Arsenal in early November for a London Derby. It’s their last Premier League game before the winter World Cup break, and Potter hopes they’re in top form.
The Gunners have appeared unstoppable in most games this season, leading the league after nine games. Mikel Arteta’s players are in peak shape early in the season, therefore Chelsea must be too.
Chelsea vs Newcastle
The Blues finish their pre-World Cup schedule against Eddie Howe’s Newcastle. Newcastle has just lost one game this season and hasn’t lost at home since April.
They’re sixth in the league, two points behind Chelsea, though they’ve played one more match, but give an exciting final encounter with attention likely to be on Qatar. Potter will need to concentrate on his team to get maximum return from the northeast
