The story seems to be the same despite the sack of Thomas Tuchel. English Premier League side, Chelsea found themselves lacking the firepower to convert chances to goals and clinch their first win since Graham Potter took over. The Blues were only able to score a goal against Austrian club side RB Salzburg forcing the match to end in a one all draw.

The Blues were expected to turn up in style and seal a massive win to kick of things in this new era, but things didn’t materialise that way. Chelsea now have a load of weights to take off their shoulders should they wish to continue in the competition.

Chelsea currently sit in 4th position in the UCL group standings, which is a source of worry for the club who have other competitions to worry over.
