Chelsea Would Making A Mistake If They Don’t Sign Two Midfielders Next Summer

The midfield would be the major area that Chelsea needs to focus on next summer. The West London club signed Enzo Fernandez for a Premier League record fee during the January transfer window from Benfica but, the work in the midfield isn’t done yet.
Most of the current Midfielders in the current Chelsea squad have been linked with an exit from Stamford Bridge in the summer. Mateo Kovacic has been linked with Manchester City, according to One Football but, Transfer Market has reported that Bayern Munich and Manchester United are also interested in signing the Croatian National.
Conor Gallagher hasn’t been linked with an exit from Stamford Bridge in summer but, the England International has been abysmal for Chelsea this season and he’s expected to be sold next summer.
Chelsea also has a lot to gain from selling Conor Gallagher since he’s a homegrown Player. Selling him would be a total profit for Chelsea, who will be trying to bank some profits to make up for the £600million expenses made this season.
Right now, Enzo Fernandez is the only Midfielder that his presence at Stamford Bridge is guaranteed next season. This is why Chelsea will need to sign at least two new Midfielders. The West London club has been linked with Romeo Lavia, Moises Caicedo and Declan Rice
