English Premier League giants Chelsea football club is preparing to host Serie A title winners AC Milan at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night in the UEFA Champions League. The Blues are no doubt keen on a win against the Serie A giants to secure their first victory in the competition this season.

Currently, Chelsea is sitting last in the Group E table after losing their opening game against Dynamo Zagreb and settling for a frustrating 1-1 draw against Salzburg before the international break.

Team News. Chelsea has been handed a boost ahead of the clash against Milan. The away team will be without Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Divock Origi, Theo Hernandez, and many more.

Chelsea on the other hand could also be without Mendy and Kante with the Blues website indicating that their possible return date is October 8th. Cucurella and Chukwuemeka are the only sidelined players who could return in time for the AC Milan game.
