The English Premier League will return to action on Saturday after the dramatic mid-week game that saw the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City win comfortably. The Citizens were able to put West Ham United to the sword after Erling Haaland, Nathan Ake, and Phil Foden scored to leapfrog Arsenal in the league table. Arsenal on the other hand thrashed Chelsea football club at the Emirates Stadium to give themselves a chance to win the premier league title.

Martin Odegaard’s brace and Gabriel Jesus’ first-half strike were enough to beat the Blues. Chelsea’s haven’t won a single game since the appointment of Frank Lampard and the upcoming Bournemouth game could be a chance for Lampard to grab his first point. The Blues needs to reach the 40 points mark which could be what is needed to avoid relegation this season.

They are currently sitting 12th in the league table with nine points above Nottingham Forest who occupies the 18th position. Bournemouth are level on point with the Blues, so they will be keen on moving above Chelsea if they win the game. Although Chelsea is facing a very tough time now, here is how they could lineup to thrash Bournemouth and escape relegation.

Thiago Silva and Benoit Badiashile could form a solid partnership at the center of the defense, while Cesar Azpilicueta and Ben Chilwell are expected to keep their place due to Recce James Marc Cucurella’s injury. Matteo Kovacic, N’golo Kante, and Enzo Fernandez are Chelsea’s untouchable midfield trio, while Madueke, Havertz, and Mudryk could lead the team up front.

Possible Lineup.

Kepa Arizabalaga, Thiago Silva, Benoit Badiashile, Ben Chilwell, N’golo Kante, Matteo Kovacic, Enzo Fernandez, Mudryk, Kai Havertz, Madueke.
