Ballon D’Or 2021: Check out The Shortlisted Top 10 For Men and Women



Yesterday (29th November 2021), the organizers of the Ballon d’Or award in France unveiled the winner of the 2021 Ballon d’Or for both men and women categories.

However, the Argentine forward, Lionel Messi was crowned as the winner of the 2021 Ballon d’Or award for the men category.

The former Barcelona striker beat Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich), Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United), and others to win the seventh (7th) Ballon d’Or on Monday night in Paris. Also, the Italian goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma lifted the Yahsin Trophy.

Initially, 30-men were shortlisted last month for the Ballon d’Or award, consisting of some favorites and new entries. However, below is a list of the top 10-men at the 2021 Ballon d’Or ceremony.

4. Karim Benzema (France/Real Madrid)

On the other hand, the Ballon d’Or award for the women category was given to Alexia Putellas from Barcelona.
