Aubameyang reveals what he texted Alexandre Lacazette just before signing with Chelsea

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang asserted on MOTDx that Alexandre Lacazette, a former teammate at Arsenal, had messaged him before to the announcement of his transfer to Chelsea.
They had a strong relationship both on and off the field while they were a powerful strike partnership at the Emirates.
However, Aubameyang was ejected from Arsenal in January of last year’s campaign, and the Frenchman’s deal with the team was not extended.
Before being replaced by Robert Lewandowski, the 33-year-old rapidly found his scoring touch for Barcelona for half a season.
Chelsea sought Aubameyang as a temporary fix to their striker issue as a result of this.
The Gabonese international now asserts that Lacazette texted him to question his choice.
“Even earlier, when he’d only heard the rumors, he was like ‘meh, really?'” Aubameyang recalled. I told him, “I can’t do it,” and he shrugged.
Despite a few instances, playing for both London clubs is typically an unbridgeable gap for players.
A longstanding joke is that footballers succeed more after switching from the Emirates to Stamford Bridge.
The likes of Cesc Fabregas and Olivier Giroud have gone on to win several titles in comparison to their performance in North London.
In preparation for the weekend trip to Villa Park, Aubameyang will try to keep up his excellent form.
In three appearances for the club, the 33-year-old has scored three goals, including two in significant Champions League contests.
The pressure on third-placed Spurs, who still have a game in hand on their other London rivals, would rise with a victory over an out-of-sorts Villa team.
After a strong start to the season, Arsenal is aiming to maintain its advantage at the top of the standings
