The President said the Ministry of Education has not invited which was supposed to instead the Ministry of Labour is the one intervening since the agreement was signed and reached.
The meeting is scheduled for Friday, the 30th of July.
Earlier this week, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Education Mr. Ben Gong protested that the union should be directive in their grievance to the FG, and also the University Transparency and Accountability Solution( UTAS) does not provide means for tax deduction compared to IPPIS proposed by the government.
Prof Osodeke added that ASUU did not say it was going on strike but calling the attention of the Government to implementt what was agreed upon; unpaid allowances, incomolete salaries, revitalisation and other demands.
